Quality Control

Hughes Beatty management structure is arranged to facilitate a frequent and regular inspection of all work in progress by project management engineers who have responsibility for ensuring clients requirements are being met at the required quality levels within the limits specified within each contract.

All work is undertaken to comply with this companies existing safety policies and in addition the project management engineers are responsible for identifying other site specific safety issues prior to the start of any works and during the term of any contract.

Safety issues are the subjects of weekly meetings attended by every member of the workforce where the agenda is to discuss a specific safety topic with the opportunity for any issues or concerns raised to be reported back to the managing engineer.

Information flow on work progress and problems is encouraged from all levels of workers through foremen and to project management engineers. This can be achieved on a daily basis making use of the site diary reporting system.

Regular meetings with all managing engineers and directors ensure company wide sharing of any issues, ideas and reviewing of any problems that have arisen resulting in best practise being adopted quickly to improve and maintain quality standards.
